They were standing quietly in front of my office, and after a long day outside, I was too tired to function like I normally was. After exchanging brief conversation, we took them to our favorite dining place.
Small banter about each other revealed that Peter like to eat spicy stuff while Sophie can’t stand way too much spices. Sophie, is a Vietnamese that was born and raised in Germany but still bearing the same traits just like Asian in general; Full of smile, very friendly, and curious.
The next day, we took them on a trekking trip. The trek was quite a challenge itself. ± 11 km was spent by walking under the bright shining sun for four hours. Burnt skin was no question, but we finally managed it. It was fun to re-visit the old train museum in Ambarawa.
