The Lazy Germans : Caro and Denise

They said it themselves, that they are the lazy Germans.

Caroline and Denise arrived at our office door around 5pm under a heavy rain. Looking very tired with their heavy backpacks, We exchanged few words then I hailed a rickshaw to take them home.

After a brief intro at home, we started chatting for a bit.

Caro and Denise are two friends traveling to Indonesia for the first time, and they picked up some of the Indonesian words along the way.

"Everytime we said, 'Tidak Pedas!' there will always someone that doesn't understand. Do you think I said it unclear?" said Denise, then started saying the same Indonesian sentence in a clear pronounciation.

"Ah, maybe the people were just shocked that there are two white germans speaking their language" said Caro while laughing.

The next day we went to karaoke, where we found out that Denise likes it and Caro kept peeing (HAHAH!).

The next day, we went to our favorite Arabian food joint, to have some ribs (me!) and to smoke some shisha (imeh! and them!)

Denise was walking out from our table so we gotta ask, where is she going? and her answer was brilliant.

"I'm going to pray!" and everyone burst into tears. The loo was happened to be across the praying room.

Caro said that she has a mission. This mission brings her to Indonesia.

"To see the Proboscis monkey. YES! THE NOSE!" she said when she saw me mimicking the pinching nose act.

"Their nose is so funny, it's very cute!". Imeh then explained to her how to get there and so on.

Their stay at our place was very memorable, since a lot of laugh immersed through our life.

What I think about Denise and Caro:

- Crazy

- Fun to be with

- Not afraid to be different

What Imeh thinks about Denise and Caro:

- the white version of us!
